2 Sourdough bread slices Salted butter, softened 3 or 4 Slices brie, thin Few large basil leaves 3 Slices Roma tomato, very thin 2 cracks of Pepper
Grilled Vermont White Cheddar with Caramelized Onions & Arugula
Sharpness from the cheddar, sweetness from the onions, with a peppery taste from the arugula, it’s fabulous, trust me.
2 Sourdough bread slices Salted Butter, softened Vermont White Cheddar 1 or 2 Tbs Onion, diced and caramelized A few Arugula leaves
Heat a pan on the stove over low- medium. Butter one side of both of your bread slices. On the non-buttered side add the ingredients, in the order written. Top with your other bread slice, buttered side up and grill. Flip when necessary. Your sandwich is done when the cheese is melty and the toast is golden and crispy. Easy!
Makes one sandwich.
