I'm about to NOT impress you with my beer knowledge. I actually can't pretend to know anything about beer (whoa, déjà vu). Basically, I know two things about beer. One, I like it with spicy foods and two, if I drink too much, I end up looking/feeling like I'm six months pregnant.
"Leffe Blond" is a beautiful blonde Belgian beer. I'm not a beer enthusiast, but my palate told me this was a good one. With most things- cigars, wine etc. no one can tell you that one is better than the other. You have to let your palate be your guide.
Okay, hold up, I'm about to sound like the rat from Ratatouille...
When you can taste an essence, flavors within flavors, that you relate with, ahhh, this heightens the experience!
You get it, right? Dark chocolate in a cigar, grapefruit in a white wine, Oak in a red. Yeah, yeah.
For me, this particular "Ale," whatever that means, is refreshing, delicate- almost sweet. I taste cloves. CLOVES, PEOPLE!! It's amazing.
I had to use CAPS to emphasize my point because I know you're not actually reading this. You're just skimming and looking at pics.
What a pleasant surprise, eh? Cloves. If you follow my blog, perhaps we share similar tastes and you like my
charming, simple lame recommendations. I hope.
Some would agree that, blonde is just better. Pardon me, but it was too obvious not to mention.
