I've told you about Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick. How it has a rich, creamy texture and how my MAC lipsticks don't compare in quality or wearability. It comes in great colors. Below are my 3 favorites!
Apricot Fantasy #120
This is a sandy-peach. It works great with my skin tone. It's natural looking and goes great with just about anything.
Stormy Pink #011
This is the fun bubble gum pink that I told you about before. It's pretty and feminine. It's matte finish is what makes this modern and current.
This is a vivid orange. It's a great statement color. A little more fresh than a traditional red? Perfect for Summer!
What's your favorite?
I'm really lazy when it comes to hair, but this is sooo simple to achieve. It's easy, fast and as cute as can be. Heidi braids are a fun alternative to a bun. It's an adorable look a flower girl's hair in a wedding, for a princess or a hippie or whatever you or your child is feeling that day. Grown ups can sport this look too.
Here's What You'll Need:
- (2) clear rubber bands
- bobby pins (that match your hair color)
Start with clean, brushed hair. Part it down the middle with your comb.
Start a braid behind your ear.
Repeat on the next side.
Bring one braid up around the head like a headband. Secure it with a couple bobby pins.
Repeat on the other side, going the other direction.
Tuck your ends under and pin. Now, pin it all around to be sure that it's secure.
Finish with light hairspray.
It was difficult to photograph and instruct at the same time. I hope you got the idea. Maybe next time I'll do a video? If you have any questions feel free to comment below.
I'm interrupting your busy day to let you know some extremely important information....

Ibiza Round Brush (It's not available any more, but it's a 65mm round brush)
Here's one like it, not in the blonde color...Ibiza G series
Hope this helps (someone)!
I'm totally obsessed with this color! It actually might be unhealthy, how much I LOVE it. If I continue on the path that I am on, in a few years, you may see me on the series "Obsessed" wearing all yellow, trapped in a completely yellow room, with padded walls (yellow, of course), drinking lemonade, eating only yellow foods and wiping my butt with only yellow tissue. Please join me for a little yellow therapy and somebody call a psychiatrist!
Well, I am making my video debut with this tutorial! I did the video dozens of times, some were possibly more entertaining & funny than this one but I decided to go with it because the giant rat's nest (tangle) in my hair wasn't showing as much. Hope you like it...I don't take criticism very well. Just kidding, I'd love your input.

Jean Fever Spring Fever! There is something for everyone when it comes to denim for Spring 2012. Colors, Prints, Cuts, and Textures, oh my. The message here is be bold, have fun, try something new and as always dress to fit your frame.
Trying something new can be uncomfortable. As we get older, it's easy to think that we only look good in a certain cut. It helps to have a friend (not a husband) with you when you're shopping for new jeans. Someone who will tell you the truth, encourage you to get out of your comfort zone and who hopefully has some fashion sense of their own.
If you feel like nothing fits you quite right it may be that you need your jeans tailored for you. A tailor can easily bring waistlines in and shorten hems. Many designer jeans are left long for that purpose. Fine department stores will fit your jeans for you while you wait.
I've chosen these lovely selections from Citizens of Humanity. Oh and by the way, I want those sandals!
I wanted to highlight some of the hottest lip colors for Spring 2012. So I had my very first, very own photo shoot! Who better to model than, my lovely friend, the Colombian beauty, Anna?! I hope that this leaves you inspired and ready to Spring into the next season...
If you're like me and you're sporting some trendy bangs, or thinking about it, you might be asking yourself, "Self? When will bangs be out?" Take comfort and let's go back in time to the 1920's and remember bangs have had and will always have their place on a glamorous woman...[slideshow]Bangs can be chic but they can also look "dated." Nobody wants 80's bangs in 2012. It's always good to re-evaluate your look and pay attention to current styles. Does your hair style look fresh? Is your hair healthy? If you've had the same hair style for more than 10 years you might be caught in a time warp...Just something to think about...
When the dog bitesWhen the bee stings When I'm feeling sad I simply remember my favorite things And then I don't feel so bad...
Mix the Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay powder with apple cider vinegar for a super pore cleansing mask. An all-natural health food store find.
Tasty, long-lasting and very glossy! I use this everyday. Comes in great, sheer shades. "Why, it's sold at Victoria's Secret of course."
I've been using this since I began wearing mascara...For the price, I haven't found anything that compares. It's oil-free, gentle and it works yo!
The perfect bold Orange shade for Summer. Great quality! Classic, fun color.
I highlight with the "Miami Strip."
Add it to your cheek bones and prepare to glow.
I'm DRY...but not after I slather this on. My favorite scent is "Honey & Black Seed Oil" My husband found this at Whole Foods, what a gem he is!
*Disclaimer- Prices vary and are approximate. My recommendations are from my experience only. I cannot guarantee that you will have the same results or that you won't brake out into a nasty rash after using them. Oh yes, and the lyrics are from the Sound of Music...not my original work. Peace out.
Essence is the most significant element, quality, or aspect of a person and that's what should be described in your style and wardrobe...the essence of you. Ideas are swarming around my head like mad...Soon, I will show you examples of celebrities with your essence, themes gone wrong, great outfits for day and night that reflect your essence. Bags, shoes, hair styles, make-up all for you and your special, unique, fabulous personality. Well? So are you ready to see what I've come up with? You betcha (I don't really talk like that).
